Flor was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been living in South Florida for 19 years. Flor’s business ethic originated by watching her father, a local grocery store owner and a farmer raising cattle and livestock. At an early age, Flor learned that hard work and determination were the ingredients for success.
Flor attended the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piera, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. After graduation, she completed missionary work for two years onboard the Ship M.V. Logos where she shared her “home” (ship) with 166 people from 34 different nations traveling through the Caribbean, Central and South America. Flor describes it as the most challenging experience of her life.
Prior to Flor joining P.T. Anderson, she worked with several CPA firms tasked with the responsibilities of assisting clients with their accounting needs in addition to tax preparation. Flor considers one of her most valuable rewards as being able to help the Hispanic community in South Florida. Being bilingual, she is a wonderful asset to P.T. Anderson as she is able to help Spanish-speaking clients with tax advice, accounting, and valuable start-up business advice.
Flor has three children in their twenties and enjoys spending time with her family. Her other passions include traveling, meeting people from different cultures, and volunteering.
