Jovie joined the team in 2023 as a Certified Public Accountant with extensive expertise in positions such as Chief Accountant, Financial Cost Analyst, and Internal Auditor. Jovie is proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Infor Sun-system, SAP, Oracle, and skilled in setting up accounting systems. She is committed to driving innovation and achieving organizational goals. Additionally, Jovie is highly skilled in multi-cultural settings and government financial management. At P.T. Anderson, Jovie serves clients in the manufacturing, banking, construction, hospitality, and government service industries.

Jovie is an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA) and began her career as a Junior Associate at an Auditing Firm, performing financial audits and assisting small local companies with financial statement preparation and income tax returns. After that Jovie matriculated and held positions such as Chief Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Audit Supervisor, Cost Accountant, Financial Analyst, and General Accountant in industries including auditing, manufacturing, construction, trading, livestock farming, meat products processing and selling, food and beverage, hospitality, and government service. Jovie also managed a finance team for the migration and implementation of JDE Edwards Oracle and Sun System accounting software, recommending customized forms and reports for accounting and finance purposes. Working for a US company based in Dubai, UAE for 5 years, Jovie was responsible for the complete accounting cycle, including payment processing, payables monitoring, client/customer invoicing, bank reconciliations, and financial report preparation. Lastly, prior to joining P.T. Anderson, Jovie worked in government service, responsible for financial management and accounting functions within a government agency, including recording and reporting financial data, budgeting, compliance auditing, payment processing, revenue collection, payroll, tax remittances, financial analysis, decision-making support and ensured adherence to government accounting standards and regulations.

Clients appreciate Jovie’s patience, attention to detail, thoroughness, and problem-solving skills. She finds gratification knowing that she provides clients with solutions and data to make successful business and financial decisions.

Jovie resides in Cagayan de Oro City in the Philippines. One aspect of Jovie’s profession that she particularly enjoys is implementing new accounting systems. She shared that being able to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations is incredibly rewarding. It presents an opportunity for her to utilize her expertise in accounting principles while also leveraging modern technology to create a more effective system for the firm.
