Delia was born in Peoria, Illinois and after earning her master’s degree, relocated to the Kansas City metro area. Delia joined the team at P.T. Anderson in 2023 as an accountant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Bradley University in Illinois. Prior to joining P.T. Anderson, Delia worked within the accounting field serving numerous clients and delivering accounting duties that included monthly reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, filing payroll tax in multiple states, managing vendor accounts, processing journal entries and accruals, month-end accruals, financial statement presentations, inventory analysis, tax return preparation, and providing audit services. In addition, Delia also earned her Certified Public Accountant credential.
In 2010, Delia’s professional path took a different turn. She started her own natural cosmetics company from inception in 2014, Raw Beauty Minerals. As the founder, she was responsible for managing and operating all aspects of the business which included manufacturing, marketing, sales, and accounting. She was also responsible for procuring and maintaining retail customers and B2B clients. Positioned as a thriving business, Delia took the opportunity to sell Raw Beauty Minerals in 2022.
Clients appreciate Delia’s organizational skills, excellent communication, and efficiency. She also likes the diversity of working with multiple companies as an accountant at P.T Anderson. She is committed to helping clients understand how to flourish in their small businesses and enjoys assuming clients’ accounting responsibilities, leaving them room to focus on the business of what they do best. When she is not working and helping clients succeed, Delia appreciates learning about real estate investing and loves spending time with family – her husband, son, and feisty one-year-old Australian Shepard, Oreo! As a Certified Life Coach, Delia also has a passion for helping, encouraging, and mentoring young women to live their best life and to pursue their biggest dreams.
Delia is also an author and has published four books entitled Start Your Own Natural Cosmetics Brand: Or Just Have Fun Learning How To Make Your Own, Princess of Power: Guide to Clearing Limiting Beliefs and Living Your Dream Life, Awakened Alchemy Daily Planner and Journal, and JOCO Girls Club. Her favorite place to visit is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where she lives the low-country lifestyle and spends time at the beach admiring the amazing ocean views.
