Samantha joined the team in 2023 as a staff accountant and tax preparer and brings a wealth of information to the firm including tax preparation, Quickbooks proficiency, procedure development, profit and loss analysis, bank reconciliation, financial review and report preparation, payroll, and more. She is a team player and is known for being collaborative, analytical, and results oriented. At P.T. Anderson, Samantha serves a variety of clients, and her diverse experience equips her to solve unique challenges.
Prior to joining P.T. Anderson, Samantha worked as an accountant at a public accounting firm, during which time she was promoted to the roles of office manager and lead staff accountant. As a tax preparer, she mentored and managed staff, oversaw financial reporting, tax preparation, accounts payable and receivable, asset coordination, account management, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
Clients appreciate Samantha’s kind demeanor, attention to detail, strategic planning, organization, and project management skills. Samantha finds satisfaction in closing out a fiscal year and reviewing the annual financial reports. She also finds joy in completed tax returns, and the sense of accomplishment found in helping clients understand their financial position so they can make informed decisions to run their business successfully.
Samantha resides in Oklahoma with her family. When she is not working with clients, Samantha loves cuddling and spending time with her two adorable dachshunds. Samantha is passionate about spending time with her family, doing just about everything from walking the neighborhood together, sitting around the firepit, and playing games.
